Why is it Important to Know, Love, and Understand God?

Why is it so important to know, love, and understand God? Knowing, loving, and understanding God are fundamental aspects of being a Christian. First, it’s important to know who God is because without Him, there is no hope. Second, it’s important to love God because He loves us. Third, it is important to understand who God is because He has shown that He understands us. These are just 3 reasons why I believe it is important to know, love, and understand God, because these things are the fundamental aspects of Christian life.

Knowing God is important because without Him there is no real reason for life. God is the source of all life and joy. His plan is always better than ours. He loves us more than we can imagine!
Loving God is important because He has loved us. God has sent Jesus Christ to die for us in love. God has set His affections on us. Through this great display of love, God has brought us near to Him.

Understanding God is important because He has understood us and our immense need for Him. Firstly, God has shown how He cares for us. Secondly, He has shown His loving wisdom in saving us for Himself. Thirdly, God has shown that He understands us.
This is why I believe that the three aforementioned reasons are so important. There are plenty of benefits that come upon us when we love, know, and understand God. And not only does it benefit us, but it glorifies God all the more.
